About the department

The Department of Psychology is a part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Northern Borders University. It was established in 1409 AH alongside the founding of the former Teachers College. With the university's commitment to continuous improvement, the college was restructured according to a clear vision to achieve its mission of serving the nation, its institutions, and its individuals

As the primary provider of psychology courses across all university colleges, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the Department of Psychology plays a crucial role in academic and societal aspects. Its faculty members actively engage in various activities, such as conducting training courses and workshops, participating in scientific conferences and seminars, and producing valuable research. Additionally, they offer expert consultations in education and psychology and provide guidance and counseling services to university students.
